The Marvin JWill Weaver Scholarship Program

Marvin JWill Weaver

Named in memory of Marvin Weaver, attorney, scholar, and friend of Hillcrest HealthCare, the Marvin JWill Weaver Scholarship Program funds educational opportunities to help Hillcrest staff train as Licensed Practical Nurses and as Registered Nurses.

Through the scholarship, Certified Nursing Assistants at Hillcrest can go to nursing school, and Licensed Practical Nurses can gain the education necessary to become Registered Nurses.  Employees currently enrolled and attending an accredited nursing program may also apply for a scholarship.

Selection for the scholarship program is rigorous, and Hillcrest strives to choose only those whose aptitude, conduct, and dedication show potential for success.  Only clinical and core courses are covered by the Scholarship.
