NEWS RELEASE
MARQUEE 2007 BRINGS “PILLOW TALK” BACK TO THE BIG SCREEN In 1959, Rock Hudson and Doris Day lit up the movie screen in the comedy classic “Pillow Talk.” Now in 2007, the Oscar-winning film will once again grace the big screen at the Tennessee Theatre as part of the first annual fundraiser for the Hillcrest-Beverly Foundation. The screening is just one of the events for Marquee 2007 to be held on Sunday, March 11. Doors open at 2 p.m. with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in the lobby of the elegant Tennessee Theatre. The film begins at 3:30. The afternoon also features a bed-decorating contest among top area decorators and silent and live auctions in the theatre lobby. The live auction will include items such as two lower-level season tickets for the 2007 Tennessee Vols football games. “This is an exciting way for the public to get involved in our efforts to improve the lives of seniors in the area,” said Carolyn Carter Jensen, director of the Hillcrest-Beverly Foundation. Proceeds benefit Hillcrest-Beverly Foundation’s Jump on the Bed Campaign, with the goal of purchasing new state-of-the-art medical beds for every resident at each of the four Hillcrest locations throughout Knoxville. Event sponsors include Regal Entertainment Group, The Haslam Family Foundation, TIS, Home Federal Bank and Heritage Healthcare. Tickets are $100 per person and seating is limited. For more information or to order tickets, call the Hillcrest-Beverly Foundation at (865) 246-4013. ### |
